Q. What's the best thing about working at the RGS?
A. The common room is incredibly supportive. Also the location on Guildford High Street can't be beaten!

Q. What do you love about your department?
A. The collaborative nature - everyone is willing to share resources and the History base is a really sociable place to be.

Q. Which staff social groups are you involved in?
A. Staff running club.

Q. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
A. Cooking, spending time with my family (I have 2 boys: 7 months and 3 years old), reading, running.

Q. If you could choose any other career, what would it be?
A. Chef of a small bistro.

Q. What is your motto in life?
A. Life is too short to drink bad coffee.

Q. If you could give one bit of advice to your younger self what would it be?
A. Don't rush things.

A. The scenic route.
