Q. What's the best thing about working at the RGS?
A. Teaching highly able pupils and working with fantastic motivated colleagues.
Q. What do you love about your department?
A. Teaching Chemistry involves a great mixture of practical skills and theory, numerical calculations and processing and qualitative explanations.
Q. Which staff social groups are you involved in?
A. None at present but in the past have done yoga and football.
Q. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
A. Swimming (pool and open water), running, cycling, sailing.
Q. If you could choose any other career, what would it be?
A. Water sports instructor.
Q. What is your motto in life?
A. Say yes - Just do it.
Q. If you could give one bit of advice to your younger self what would it be?
A. Don't worry about getting a 'proper' job.
Q. What would be the title of your autobiography?
A. Jack of All Trades.
